What it is
JUSTPING Secure Connect is our managed, subscription-based private network. Each approved user, office and server runs a small agent that joins an encrypted network we run and monitor. Agents make outbound connections only, so no inbound port has to be opened at your sites and no static IP is needed. Where the two networks allow it, traffic goes directly between your devices; where they do not, it passes through an encrypted relay we operate. Access rules decide which systems each user or device may reach.

What Secure Connect does — and what it does not
Secure Connect controls who can reach your systems and how that traffic travels. It is one layer, not the whole of your security, and it depends on the Internet connections at each site.

Where it stops
- It does not replace endpoint protection, updates or backup — a compromised laptop is still a compromised laptop, and it will be inside the network.
- It depends on your broadband at each location. If a site's Internet connection fails, so does access to and from that site.
- It does not stop someone misusing access they have legitimately been given.
- We do not offer an uptime guarantee or a guaranteed response time; the service is monitored during working hours and supported under the agreement we sign with you.

Common questions
Do we need a static IP?
No. Every location only needs an ordinary Internet connection. Connections are made outward from your own devices, so nothing has to be opened on your router.
How is this safer than port forwarding?
Port forwarding publishes your server to everyone on the Internet, and automated attacks find it within hours. With Secure Connect your server is not published at all: only devices we have enrolled, for users you have approved, can reach it.
Is this the same as a consumer VPN app?
No. A consumer VPN sends your browsing through someone else's servers. Secure Connect is a private network between your own users, devices and offices, with access rules set for your business.
What does it cost?
It is a monthly subscription, priced in line with what a static IP typically costs from a broadband provider — without the exposure. Tell us how many locations and users you have and we will quote.
What happens if our Internet connection goes down?
Access to that location stops until the connection is back, exactly as it would with any other remote access method. Sites with two Internet connections keep working over the second one.
Does this make our business secure?
It removes one of the most common ways small businesses get compromised — a server published to the Internet — and it limits who can reach what. It is one layer. Endpoint protection, updates, sensible passwords and a tested backup still matter just as much.
What happens if a laptop is lost or someone leaves?
We remove that device or user from the network and their access ends straight away. Nothing needs to change at your other locations.
Who runs the network?
